You’re almost at the finish line! Let’s configure a desk phone for the system.
Navigate to users in the main menu.
Select the user that the device is for and then select Devices from the dropdown list.
Simply select add device
To complete this step you will need to know the phone Mac address, normally on the bottom of the device, and the IP address of the network.
Tell the system about the phone:
1. Select the identity/user to be used. (This can either be the default user identity or a secondary identity).
2. Give the device a label
3. Enter the Mac address of the phone and the IP address that the phone is on.
4. Select the supported device to configure the desk keys (you can do this manually on the phone on unsupported phones)
5. Reboot the phone.
Tell the phone about the system:
If the device has been supplied by us it will contact our servers when plugged in.
