Ring Groups

A ring group is a collection of users (devices) that ring in a coordinated sequence. They could either be an organizational department such as sales, or it could be a set of users whose job it is to answer the phone. It might be the administration assistants in many different departments who have to answer the phone once it rings and direct the call to the right person.

In setting up the system you have already selected a set of users for ring groups. This page shows you how to create new ring groups or change who is in a ring group.

The inbound call section will show you how to point a phone number either internal or an external phone number at this group.
